Position Overview
Mom Water is looking for an Accounting Associate to assist in the day-to-day activities of the accounting department. This position will report to the CFO and will be supervised by the Accounting Manager. Ideally the candidate will work Full Time, but Part-Time candidates that can work at least 25 hours on average per week will be considered.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
● Technology – QuickBooks & Microsoft Excel:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting preferred but not required
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping field
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in QuickBooks required
Skills & Qualifications
● Strong grasp on Intuit QuickBooks and comfort with product features & requirements.
● High attention to detail.
● Highly organized, punctual and diligent to keep timeline requirements.
● Analytical skills to understand financial reports and forecasting implications.
● Ability to communicate financial matters effectively.
● Proficiency in MS & Google suite.
● Home office location within one hour of Jasper, Indiana or Louisville, KY a plus.

● Technology – QuickBooks & Microsoft Excel:
o This position will work primarily in QuickBooks through the creation of invoices and processing of bills.
o From time to time, export and analysis of accounts in Microsoft Excel will be required.
● Accounts Payable:
o Input bills for payment.
o Maintain vendor information.
o On occasion, process invoices for payment on behalf of the company.
● Accounts Receivable:
o Send invoices on behalf of the company.
o Collect payments and apply to open invoices.
o Maintain customer information.
o On occasion, hold customers accountable to payment terms and initiate follow-up where necessary.
● Cash and Credit Management:
o Assist in bank reconciliations.
o Assist in reconciliation of monthly credit card statements.
● Month-end/Year-end duties:
o Assist in various account reconciliations.
o Assist with Inventory counts.
o Assist with 1099 preparation.
Qualifications
Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting preferred but not required
